Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two categories. The first is reconstructive surgery which includes craniofacial surgeryhand surgerymicrosurgery, and the treatment of burns. The other is cosmetic or aesthetic surgery.[1] While reconstructive surgery aims to reconstruct a part of the body or improve its functioning, cosmetic surgery aims at improving the appearance of it. Both of these techniques are used throughout the world.

EYELID

Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) includes surgery of the upper and/or lower lids. This surgery is often combined with other facial procedures, and is used to brighten and improve the appearance of tired or baggy appearing eyes.

FAT GRAFTS

Fat grafts, also known as fat transfers, are suitable for patients who wish to permanently correct wrinkled or sunken areas on the face to improve contour. The procedure transfers fat from areas of excess fat to areas where patients desire more volume. Fat grafts are safe and long-lasting, and provide natural-looking results without the use of very invasive techniques.

FACELIFT NECKLIFT. BROWLIFT

Facelift and Necklift surgery addresses the drooping of the cheeks, jawline and neck. This surgery rejuvenates the facial appearance through hidden incisions behind the ears or occasionally a small incision underneath the chin. At Angel Plastic Surgery our goal is to provide a more younger and natural appearance. In some patients, only a mini-facelift accomplishes this result, while those with more severe aging often need careful contouring of the deeper tissues and a gentle re-draping of the skin.

Browlift is a general term which refers to surgical rejuvenation of the forehead and eyebrows. Different techniques can be used to alter the position of the eyebrows, or adjust the height of the forehead and hairline. A browlift can also improve skin laxity of the upper lids.

BREAST REDUCTION
Breast reduction surgery can be performed either as a single procedure, or as part of a more comprehensive Body Contouring plan. Breast Reduction or reduction mammaplasty, is a procedure in which we remove excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, thereby reducing both their size and weight, and improving their firmness. We reshape the breasts so they look natural and perfectly complement the patient’s figure. Many women have undergone Breast Reduction surgery not only for alleviating their pain, but also for helping them to feel more confident, attractive and healthy.

LIPOSUCTION

One of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures, liposuction sculpts the body by removing undesirable fat from areas such as the abdomen, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, chin, cheeks, neck and upper arms that have not responded to diet and exercise. Local anesthesia or general anesthesia may be used and the procedure can last anywhere from one to five hours depending on the amount of fat being removed. There are several different methods the doctors at Angel Plastic Surgery use when performing liposuction, including tumescent liposuction and ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL). In all types, a tiny incision is made in an inconspicuous location, and an anesthetic solution is put into the fatty tissue. An ultrasound treatment is then given to soften the fatty layer and break up the tissues. Then a small cannula is inserted through the same tiny incision into the fat layer and suctions out the fat.

Recovery from liposuction is relatively quick and most patients feel up to returning to light duty within 2-7 days.

TUMMY TUCK (MINI/FULL)

A “Tummy Tuck” or Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to flatten a protruding abdomen by tightening the muscles in the abdominal wall and removing any excess fatty tissue and skin. Many men and women have successfully undergone this procedure to help improve their self esteem. But it is important that you have realistic expectations when having any surgery and understand your probable outcome.
